Three ewes in a week, and last night they had the old ram, and he was a mean old ram and I'd have said nothing could have him. It's the wolves out of the north pasture. They never came so close before the Raid. Something's put the fear in them, and a frightened wolf is a hungry wolf. Would you thin them out? Eight should teach the rest some manners.
